Curated by Anelisa Mangcu, ‘BODYLAND – A Site for Contemplation’ is the result of a 14-day high-octane group incubator, and subsequent creative programme, set up to provide a group of creative, young socially engaged residents of the Eastern Cape the opportunity to take their work, in whatever medium, to a new level while engaging with the history, natural resources and body/land politics of the Tyhume Valley.

 

Please note that the opening event will feature a performance art piece that contains nudity, and it is therefore not suitable for sensitive and/or younger viewers.
